In less than a month, March 22, a feature documentary film about the St Olav’s Way from Oslo to Norway will be released on Vimeo on Demand. Belgian traveller and documentary maker Hilse de Groote (aka A Girl from Earth) has walked the 643 kms from Norway’s captital to my home town, carrying all her film gear as well as clothes and kit. I am really looking forward to this film and will no doubt stop and start it endlessly to study details of the places, paths, and the clothes and shoes people are wearing, as well as making notes on places to stop for the night.
